What's The Play? First Story Edition (Patreon)

So here's a fun exercise for you guys today.  I'm going to put up 5 draws from actual starting prologue White Lion fights I've had (People of the Lantern) and you can take a moment and work out what you'd do in the develop step of LY1.  At the end of the article I'll post what I did for each scenario, including what my endeavors are spent on and what principles I picked.

I'd love to see your lists of what you'd do.

1. No Deaths, 12 Population

2. No Deaths, 14 Population

3. One Death, 10 Population

4. 2 Deaths, 8 Population

5. 1 Death, 9 Population

Here we go!:

1. Turn Mane into 2 Hide.  Build Full Rawhide, 1 Extra Rawhide Head and Body. ??? for Bone Darts, Bone Sword, 1 Monster Grease.  Save Eye of Cat for Circlet after LY1 fight.

2. Love Juice for +1 Population, Pick Survival of the Fittest, Rawhide Head, Body and Gloves.  Bone Sword, Bone Axe, 1x Monster Grease. Save Sinew for Cat Gut Bow.

3. Pick Graves as Principle. Build Rawhide Body, Gloves, Boots and Headband. Skull Helm, Bone Darts, Monster Grease

4. This one is really rough! Love Juice for +1 Population and Survival of the Fittest (SotF is great with very low and very high population numbers). Save Golden Whiskers to build Harp. Build 2x Bone Axe, 1 Bone Darts, 1 Bone Sword. Aim for Overwhelming offense vs WL in order to shorten the length of the fight as much as possible.

5. Yup, this really happened. It's why I advocate Prologue Cat Punching.

Convert Mane and Build full Rawhide + extra Body piece.  Bone Club, Darts, Sword. Save Eye, Save Sinew.
