"There was once a monster who was shunned by its creator and left to wander the darkness. Lost in the world of humans, it was driven insane in its attempts to comprehend them. Now, the only reality it accepts exists deep inside its hollow, broken mind."

It's no secret that I'm not a fan of the Lion Knight, the expansion is somewhat lacking.  However I love the model and I am especially fond of the three members of his retinue - the Stoic Seamstress, the Impish Archivist and the Silent Barterer.  Those three women, despite the way they dress (which makes you think of a harem) are actually ageless, stupidly powerful scholars, possibly more powerful than the Lion Knight himself.

I took a single liberty with the model by repositioning the Seamstress so her leg doesn't hang over the edge of the base. It's better for play purposes, however her left hand didn't sit correctly anymore so I put a lantern in it. I also had to raise up the bottom of the base under her left foot so it wasn't dangling in the air.

(Book image references one of the pages described in the rules, it's apparently filled with cartoonish drawings and fighting arts).

This one was mostly painted in Scale 75, with a little model color for the golds and base and some citadel washes.
