733 Church of Dissolution (D&D 5e + Shadowdark) (Patreon)

Traveler! In Church of Dissolution, a level-5 epic adventure, the characters investigate strange disappearances and the growth in prominence of a nefarious cult known as the Church of Dissolution. Its deluded members voluntarily jump into a caustic pond to shed away their skins; all to attain eternal life and fulfillment. At least, that is what the cult leader, a man with a crow-shaped mask, claims to the congregation.

When the characters visit the temple, they soon find out that those who have undergone the accursed transformation are nothing but skinless undead under the leader's control. The dungeon is a perilous place that the cultists shall use to their advantage, especially the deadly traps hidden therein. The characters must overcome this test of bravery and combat prowess.
