717 Pond of Unfulfilled Dreams (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! In Pond of Unfulfilled Dreams, the characters learn about a magical pond located in the deepest chamber of the Yuletide Crypts. The legend says that its water has incredible powers and can read a person's soul to determine if they are worthy of it. This ancient, eerie dungeon is filled with deadly traps and guardians. Only the strongest and the bravest shall gaze upon this otherworldly liquid.

In this level-6 Shadowdark adventure,  the heroes explore an ancient dungeon that only reveals itself once a year, during Winter's holidays. It is not an easy task and even if they succeed, the Pond of Unfulfilled Dreams is no joke, and those deemed unworthy shall face horrible consequences. This may be the biggest challenge for the heroes so far.

This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
