Hi there, the current working title of this illustration is Abode of the Dying Sun. We still don't have lore ideas down for this one. At the moment I am considering a desert-based cult and this is most likely going to be the cult's lair. There are already some barracks right at the start of the dungeon.

IMPORTANT

The northeast chambers are blocked off from the rest of the dungeon by boulders. There is something dangerous here that even the denizens fear. What is it? Care to pitch in some ideas for the strange happenings in this dungeon?

"... a desert-based cult..." Axolotl or toad spirits. Small gods / genius loci / fey / spirits of earth and darkness. Squirming away from the light. Slimy, squishy, intangible spirits. Reskinned shadow / ghost / wraith / et cetera... The twist is, they are not evil, they like darkness because light hurts them. The spirits were bound by the cult but escaped. Their chambers are not blocked to keep them in but to keep everybody else out. Abused by the cult, the spirits just want to be left alone. But might reward someone who lets them know the cult has been destroyed.

The lair protects one of the few water deposit abailable in the region, under the caverns. But there is something in the water...
