704 Throne of Forlorn Desires (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! In Throne of Forlorn Desires, the characters learn of a long-forgotten tomb that has just been revealed. Clan Jund was led by King Kumi, one of the dwarvish lords that ruled the northern territories. Sadly, he is remembered for his weakness and unremarkable actions during the wars. He was the first to lose his lands, troops, and station. Most blame him for allowing the dwarvish front to break.

This is a Shadowdark adventure that brings the heroes to an ancient tomb where the spirit of King Kumi sings gloomy melodies. The characters may find great treasure by exploring the right places and defeating the undead opponents. Will they help King Kumi's spirit find eternal rest? Or will they try to antagonize him to steal his treasure?

This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
