683 For the Little Ones! - Level-0 Gauntlet (Patreon)

In For the Little Ones!, an elusive demon used a pan flute and a cryptic tune to lure out most children from a nearby town. Two hunters saw the little ones follow the strange goat-like entity but dared not confront it. Now, among the grieving parents, a group stands out as brave enough to do something about this. Aid from the capital won't come on time. They must rise up to the challenge.

In this level-0 Shadowdark gauntlet adventure, a group of people delves into a perilous dungeon to find the missing children or their very offspring. Therein, they find a perilous situation as the demon is about to consume the souls of some of the little ones. If the characters are resourceful and daring, they may yet exit this place in the company of innocent boys and girls. After this, the surviving villagers might find a new profession in a life of adventure!

This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
