682 The Door of Ages - Level-0 Gauntlet (Patreon)

In The Door of Ages, a recent cave-in caused the mountains to shift and the entrance to a dungeon was revealed. People started coming to Harrington, asking for this place and a certain Cadmus mage. What no one knows, is that Cadmus was a powerful mage but he perished trying to master time. The Door of Ages, his best creation, is the closest he got to understanding time travel. Frankly, this place is unsafe for anyone. But the possibility to become filthy rich can persuade even the weakest and most fragile mind. 

In this level-0 Shadowdark gauntlet adventure, a group of peasants gathers and dreams of becoming something more. They shall investigate the Door of Ages and hope to find lots of treasures. However, nothing can prepare them for what's inside. Even less so for what occurs when they come out.

This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
