673 Cultists of the Lost (Patreon)

In Cultists of the Lost, a level-7 Shadowdark RPG one-shot, the adventurers are summoned by the capital's authorities. They are hired to eradicate all signs of danger and trouble from the once-abandoned archive. It is currently occupied and being used as a hideout by a faction known as Cultists of the Lost. Their agents must be removed and their recently spotted abomination destroyed.

This is an adventure that brings the heroes to an underground archive compound. They must hack and slash their way through the dungeon and find a way to discover where the Shrine of The Lost is. Once they see the extent of the shrine's abomination and the power of its guardian, they won't be able to turn back.

This adventure has been designed for Shadowdark RPG through their 3rd party license. The system is meant to be accessible to OSR players and modern players alike. Adapting the material to 5e or other systems should not be difficult.
