In Ghost in the Shell, the characters learn about Niklas Vera, the powerful wizard that accomplished the impossible and created sentient life. This is what the stories claim, but no one has proof of this. Still, the land is full of rumors and crazy theories about the mage's invention.

The characters get involved in this adventure in three different ways. They are hired to retrieve the sentient golem for a wealthy duke. Or they may start this journey of their own accord, seeking the truth themselves. Lastly, they could be contacted by the sentient golem! A plea for help from this new form of life. 

This is an adventure that takes the heroes to Niklas Vera's laboratory. The journey to the lab is dangerous and full of monsters and immortal guardians. When they meet Andros, the golem, they may realize that selling him as cargo or taking advantage of his mere existence may not be the right thing to do. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
