Lately most of my material has been full colored maps. But if you've followed me since the beginning, my earlier maps were all black and white. Like this one for example:

So my question is, are interested in black and white maps too?

I like both. I believe it depends on the theme of the map. If you think a map would look better in black and white, run with that!

Absolutely! Both have their appeal and I guess in some circumstances color work a lot better in bringing life and ambient into the environment, but I have no problem and might even prefer black and white maps as a default.

Yes, I enjoy color as well as B/W. Matt hit the nail on the head, it's all about the theme.
