A knowledge-coveting wererat mage hides in the sewers! (Patreon)

Merry Holidays Traveler! The sewers and tunnels under the city of Vagellan were a marvel when built decades ago. Today, they are home to pests, vermin, and even criminal guilds. The current problem in Vagellan is Garko, the wererat mage who spread his rodent lycanthropy and formed a group of thieves. They live in the sewers and have earned the acceptance of all other rats and rodents there.

Every night, the sneaky rat people come out of the sewers to break into houses to steal valuables, books, and arcane goodies for Garko. The city offers a hefty reward of gold to a group of valorous individuals who dare explore the sewage system and find the rats' leader!

This is a level 4 adventure with a bit of exploration, combat, and exploration of the sewage system underneath a large city! Here's a low-def preview of this illustration:

Here's a close-up of the control room next to Garko's secret hideout. There is a new clockwork device in the control room that operates the hidden entrance to the wererat mage's lair. Alas, it is warded by scores of rodent guardians!.

The characters must explore the lonely sewage tunnels that have gained a bad reputation after decades of triads and gangs using them to hide from the city watch.
