537 The Swamp Thing (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! People always say no one should approach the Broken-Twig Swamp because there are plenty of predators and geographical hazards. Only the bravest of explorers and hunter-gatherers dare traverse it. Despite that, there has been an increase in disappearances in the past few months. People claim they have glimpsed a strange maned creature in the muddy waters. They call it the swamp thing.

The strange creature has a demonic origin and lives in an underground, half-submerged cave system in the heart of the swamp. The disappearance of a young noble kid has finally prompted the authorities to do something about it. They offer a hefty reward for the rescue of the young lad but they also risk the anger of the populace at the hypocrisy of only doing something after a wealthy person became a victim . Still, the characters shall have a say in how this adventure develops and what happens at the end.

This is a level 7 adventure with a bit of exploration, combat, and swamp nastiness!
