Traveler! This story is about Phaendar Naeven. The poor elf lost his parents when he was just an 8-year-old child. After surviving how he could and roaming the world for years, a kind fisherman decided to take care of him. But Phaendar was cruel,  ruthless, and reckless. He found pleasure in torturing animals and impaling insects...

It all went south when Phaendar, aged 22, murdered his adoptive father in a fit of rage... Since that gruesome event, he became a criminal, robbing and pillaging wherever he went. He bought a house beside Silvermoon Lake and pretended to be a simple fisherman for months. A recent wave of kidnappings points in his direction though, could Phaendar be the one responsible for the foul crimes?

This is a level 2 adventure with a bit of mystery, combat, and roleplaying! Here's a low-def preview of this illustration:

Here's a close-up of the elf's home near the lake. On the surface, it all appears normal but the elvish criminal is a foul person; the house reeks of decomposing food and a lack of cleaning.

Down in the dungeon, the prisoners await in the darkness for their captor to come to dispose of them. The steel summoning circle is attuned to the dark energies of the beyond. The elf uses it to summon unsavory entities from beyond the veil...
