474 The Emerald Vault (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower!

The strange entrance in the desert leads to a long-forgotten vault that houses a dangerous artifact from ages past named the Emerald Crown, mortals who wear it forfeit their souls and bodies to bring forth a physical manifestation of the Scaled God, an avatar of the snakefolk deity. The characters are here to retrieve the crown, by accident, or to rescue a misguided mage who seeks the Emerald Crown for selfish purposes. Will the characters be fast and strong enough to survive the calamity within the Emerald Vault? There is only one way to know!
