Chase Encounter and Brainstorming Ideas (Patreon)

Hi there, above you can see a preview of this month's regional map. It is due to be published today or perhaps tomorrow. However, we are also planning one of the short adventures-encounters to be an outdoors chase-like encounter following the river upstream and the Regal Road. It is the highlighted area in the map above which will also be detailed in a zoomed-in regional map (also above, in black and white).

We're thrilled about this adventure but also want some ideas for it. It is a chase-like scene from north to south. Along the road, there are many destroyed settlements, raided by gnolls. And the characters must travel south to Grambury. Any cool ideas for this scenario?

Maybe a straight-up chase, an escorting mission, protecting a caravan? What else comes to mind?
