768 Church of the Horned Goddess (D&D 5e + Shadowdark) (Patreon)

Denizens of the Tower! In Church of the Horned Goddess, the characters visit a shrine dedicated to this elusive deity that the goblins worship to this day in small chapels. The characters are here to aid the goblins in retrieving the fabled headpiece of the Horned Goddess or to smuggle it out and sell it to a dwarven museum. In their religion, the unique headpiece cannot be replicated, there exists only one. It has been hidden in this dungeon for over five hundred years.

When the goblin priests abandoned this underground compound, they set deadly traps and perilous chambers to drive off tomb robbers and mercenaries. This dungeon is designed to split the party in three and throw them against unsurmountable, deadly odds. If the characters prevail and reach the church nave, they shall find the timeless effigy of the goddess of the earth. If their hearts are pure, they can take the headpiece unimpeded. Otherwise, dwarf-like greed shall be met with the strongest resistance of goblin undead warriors.
