SOBS AND RIPS AND SHREDS

i dont think i can emphasize enough how i spent a solid 4-5 days straight teaching myself how to rig. my fiance has had a difficult time pulling my from my desk when i enter The Focus Zone too close to bed time lol
the process involved overhauling entire models (this is my 4th attempt at making a Domino model xwx ) and banging my head against the process of weight painting. Of all the tutorials I watched, none advised that it would be easier to rig the most low poly model i could make and then scale up the mesh and then sculpt features & details afterward- idk tho, there might be some alternative i havent learned yet lol but the method i got works for me, for NOW anyway

i am so unimaginably engrossed in this process, its almost addicting- i still get blender dreams tryin to problem solve things i was stuck on the day before gielarugnjknmg. here are some test renders- this is my first time even putting the model in motion.

really hope i can refine one of these methods to give it that line art effect without lookin so janky- one method has a hard time lookin good in sharp crevices, and the other looks too thick and formless. ill figure it out one way or another
