Subjects: Peggy Smith, Homunculus Body P, Daisy the Shiba Inu.

Sunnyvale, California. Back where this all started.

I had followed Peggy the Body Thief through countless faces and across countless continents only to track her right back to the very beginning.

I had a hunch that Peggy was planning on trying to lose my tail on her by hiding in plain sight. By re-possessing the original body and life she had abandoned, now occupied by the soul of Trent Masterson, which will be referred to as Peggy T. However, she had failed to notice the limit to her power. She cannot possess the same body twice. A weakness I aimed to exploit.

So, I set up a trap. With Peggy T's help, I was able to create a Homunculus in her image. A magical body with no soul, only able to follow very simple directions. This required a lot of materials (what the FUCK even IS 'Saltpeter?!') and mana, but within a few days I had my homunculus ready. With Peggy T's permission, I cast a spell on her dog, Daisy, as a backup plan of sorts, in case Peggy tried to jump again. Then, I waited. I didn't have to wait long.

While walking Daisy, the Homunculus was cornered by Peggy the Body Thief, who didn't hesitate to possess the body. It was then I confronted her. I told her if she tried to body hop one more time, "she would REALLY be in the dog house." (Yes, I enjoy a good pun, sue me.)

My warning, as always, went unheeded. Peggy immediately tried to hop into a bystanders body. It was then the protective enchantment I'd placed on Daisy activated. Soon, Daisy was in the Homunculus body, and Peggy was trapped inside Daisy's body.

Of course, Peggy was humiliated and outraged at being placed inside a dog's body. At least, that's what I assumed from all her angry barking. Daisy however was thrilled to be in a human body. She was surprisingly smart for a dog, so it took some adjustments, and aside from some panting and a short lesson on fire hydrant etiquette, she's able to pass as human more or less. Peggy T decided to take the new Daisy in as a "long lost twin sister," and Peggy the Body Thief as a new pet.

Now you may be asking yourself. "Why didn't I just place the body locking enchantment on the homunculus instead of the dog?" Well, I had to give her SOME kind of punishment for stealing so many lives! And I'm not exactly a prison warden. Somehow this seemed more... fitting.

For now, Peggy will have to get used to a life of dry kibble and random dogs sniffing her ass at the park. I'm sure she'll be really popular with the locals. And after she's learned her lesson, maybe I'll be generous and make a new body for her.
