Fun fact: this version of the master (Sacha Dhawan) said in a interview, he never watched a previous master iteration so the personality he chose was based on what he thought the master was and he didnt have inspiration from anyother actor who played the master

I know a lot of people are a fan of this incarnation of the Master, but I personally felt that it was too soon to bring the character back after Missy. I find him a bit too manic for my taste, but I get why hes popular. A Master like him can definitely be a lot of fun. I loved the addition of Ada Lovelace. As a history nerd, I was the only one in the room excited when she first appeared. Despite the fact that the techonolgy to actually implement it wasn't yet available, Ada Lovelace was the first ever computer programmer and all round badass. You should definitely have a read about her if you're interested. From this appearance too I thought she would have made a great and different full time companion. Since Victorian Clara I've wanted a comanion from history. As far as I'm aware, they never actually state the order of the Master incarnations on screen. As long as this continues to be true, I'm believing that Missy is the final form of the Master. That way none of her character progress needs to be touched, and they're free to to what they want with the character elswhere.
