thank you for reacting to this series I grew up with. I always cry at the last montage they show. I would highly recommend goodbye bannerman road, Which was a tribute shortly after her passing. It has some little spoilers on her classic run, so you could watch it after you have seen her on classic who.

Wow, I can't believe we're at the end. Thank you for reacting to this show, most reactors I follow just aren't interested. So I've really enjoyed and appreciated your reactions. 😊 I agree that this was a good two parter to end on, I like the story a lot. But it still doesn't really feel like an ending. Basically what happened is they'd just finished filming this episode when Elizabeth started to get really unwell and she passed shortly after. They talked to the other cast members and to Elizabeth's family and collectively came to the decision to release these three stories that had already been filmed because Elizabeth was really proud of them and they added that short tribute to the end of this episode in the editing room. Of course because of the circumstances they did the best they could and we can't be angry about it, but it is definitely disappointing that the show ended here. They had SO much more planned, a 6th series had already been commissioned. Either at the end of series 5 or during series 6 we would've seen the return of Ruby (from the series 4 finale), the guy with the parrot would've returned and explained exactly why he brought Sky to Sarah Jane, we would've seen more of Sky's powers and abilities, Maria and her dad would've come back for a cameo, The Trickster was planned to make a big return, the blonde lady in this episode who got a job with UNIT was going to come back to help Sarah Jane along with Kate Stewart, Peter Capaldi was going to appear in series 6 as The Doctor (much like David and Matt already had), they'd planned to have the Daleks make their first appearance on the show and Luke was going to announce that him and Sanjay (his friend from college that he talks about all the time) were actually a couple and the show was going to explore sexuality which would've been groundbreaking for a kid's show the time. There was SO much that they were going to do that didn't happen. They were also going to FINALLY put Clyde and Rani together at the end of series 5. There were definite hints towards it in this episode. Clani is their official ship name yeah, I remember how excited everyone was that they included that in the show, especially with Luke teasing them like he knows they have feelings for each other. And basically in the finale Rani was going to be put in a life threatening situation (again lol) and when she was saved Clyde was going to do this big speech about how his experience with Ellie made him realize how closed off he's been and how long he's been pushing Rani away and how he knows that Rani is his soulmate etc. And they were going to kiss in the rain in Bannerman Road and I can't tell you how much I wanted to see that. Out of everything that we missed out on with the show ending suddenly, Clyde and Rani not getting together after years of waiting is by far the hardest to take. But of course, these are unusual and sad circumstances and things just happen this way sometimes. Oh and in series 6 the show was due to move to later time slot to include even more mature content. The whole idea with this show was for it to grow with it's audience and we've definitely seen that. Like last series we had Clyde having his first kiss and the storyline dealing with homelessness and in this episode we had the slavery topic and the not at all subtle penis joke lol. So it's clear the way they were heading with it. It's such a shame that things ended the way that they did. It's sad for the viewers, for the cast and for everyone who loved this show and who loved Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. Her character deserved a better ending really. But she'll always be loved and this show will always be loved. And I do hope maybe Luke, Clyde, Rani and/or Sky will show up again some time in the future, maybe on Doctor Who itself now that they're adults. I'd love that. 🤞

I really hope they come back. Even a quick cameo or a name mention will be awesome
