Such a great two parter. I loved seeing them all split up into different time zones. Yes the plot was a bit flimsy, you're right. Like that guy had a box with the exact shapes of all the objects but didn't tell them that? And he didn't tell them about the time limit. And also Clyde being a person of colour wouldn't have gone down well in the 1940s, same with Rani in the 1500s. But we have to remember this is a kid's show so they're never going to dive deep into those topics and a flimsy plot is forgiveable because the stories overall were interesting. There were a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming and it was quite moving at times. As for the guy with the parrot, he was supposed to come back in series 6 in a major role where we'd learn more about him and about how he knew Sarah Jane and why he sent them to the past. But sadly, for obvious reasons, that never happened. They had so many exciting things planned that never ended up happening, but I'll talk more about those when you get to the end of the show. If I remember next week's episodes right, they're good ones. This series overall is definitely my favourite. 🙂

I like the parallel plotlines of this story - and it manages to include a history lesson as well, with the story of Lady Jane. If I had a "Top 6" of SJS stories, this would be in it :)
