I enjoyed watching these with you again. This two parter isn't the best, one of the weaker ones for me. But what you've heard is right, it definitely picks up from here. And there are some episodes going forward that I know you're going to love. Series 1 and series 2 were very much more like a kid's show, which makes sense considering it aired on a kid's channel, so the stories are quite cringey at times. But from series 3 onwards it aired on BBC One and the stories really improve. So stick with it, you won't regret it I promise. As for Rani, I love her. I much prefer her to Maria and I think you'll grow to really like her too as time goes on, I especially love her connection with Clyde. And I'm sad that you really don't like him yet because he's my favourite character. But you are still early on in the show so I hope that changes for you. Later in this series there's a story that delves more into Clyde's parents, especially his dad, and that's the story that made me really like Clyde and understand why he jokes around all the time. I'll be interested to see if that story will change your views of him a bit. 🙂

I love this 2 parter. Bradley Walsh did a wonderful job portraying Oddbob, Spellman & the Pied Piper. Rani is a great addition to the show. Hopefully, you will grow to like her more.
