Updates Regarding: Whoniverse, Supernatural, and Big Sky Reactions, Possible Syncing Solutions, and a New Tier (Patreon)
Content
Whoniverse:
After speaking with those on the Zoom call tonight, it seems the priority is to get through series two of Torchwood and series one of The Sarah Jane Adventures before reaching Series 4, episode 11 of Doctor Who.
Episode 4x11 is scheduled to be released on October 28th. So, the plan is to watch both series two of TW and series 1 of SJA before then as I have time.
With the time commitments I have in October, I don't feel comfortable adding either of those shows onto the schedule as regular weekly reactions just yet. So, I will be releasing them sporadically as they get completed for the time being. However, series 2 of TW and series 1 of SJA will be released before we get to episode 4x11 of DW. That I do feel comfortable committing to.
In fact, episode 2x01 of Torchwood will be released on Thursday of this week.
There's a chance I'll be able to get episodes 1x02 and 1x03 of SJA out sometime this week as well, but I can't promise that. As an FYI, both parts of each SJA story will be in one video (with separate timers for each episode so you can still do the sync).
Supernatural:
After the season one finale is released this coming Sunday, I'll be pausing the SPN rewatch at least until November to free up some time to do the extra Whoniverse and movie reactions in October.
Big Sky:
I will officially be doing reactions for Big Sky most likely starting in November. I've currently recorded episodes 01 - 03. I'm absolutely LOVING it. If I wasn't recording reactions, I honestly would've binged the entire first season in two days.
So, if you haven't yet, check out the pilot and consider watching the show in October to see if you want to check out the reactions when they start. Here in the US, I'm watching it on Hulu.
I did release a reaction to the pilot and it's available on the tiers All TV Shows, The Whole Shebang, and the new one mentioned below.
Syncing Update #1:
At the request of a few patrons, I've started bringing the video back for short periods of time in the watch-along videos. Every 10 minutes, I bring the video back for 30 seconds. Hopefully, this will help you to make sure your copy is staying in sync.
It is every 10 minutes of the episode and not the reaction video. So, you should be able to easily use the running timer during the episode to help you find these spots if you need to.
I also left the sound off during these parts so it's not a distraction if you don't need to check the sync.
Please let me know whether or not this ends up being helpful for you.
Syncing Update #2:
Thanks to Malcolm, I'm testing out creating versions of the watch-along reactions that have the speed increased by 4% to see if that will work for those based in the UK (or using streaming platforms that use UK stream rates). However, I need some people to please test it and let me know if it works or if there are still issues.
So, if you're in the UK and you're willing to help me out, please click here to see if series 3, episode 8 of Doctor Who stays synced for you. If you do test this, please comment below with your results (and THANK YOU).
New Tier:
After discussing it briefly with a few other members, I've added a new tier where you get to request one pilot or movie reaction per month (similar to what Ashleigh Burton does with her channel if you're familiar with it).
It's called the Britany's Bestie tier and you can learn more about it in the membership section.
My current schedule only allows room for two Patrons on this tier, and one of the spots was taken by someone on the Zoom call earlier today. (UPDATE: The second spot has been taken. If a spot opens back up or I'm able to add another one in the future, I'll post an update.)
I know with the higher price and the different exchange rates it's likely to be out of budget for a lot of people. But, unfortunately, it's what makes sense with how much time goes into a movie reaction especially. For a two-hour movie, it generally takes about 6 hours from start to finish. (Plus, Patreon takes a pretty hefty cut.)

I know this was a loooong update, but I just want to make sure I keep you all in the loop! THANK YOU for being here!!!
