I suspect you would like the Ant-man Marvel movies :-)

Ian Smith

you'll notice a few moments throughout this story where scenes appear to have been taken out (the sequence where the trio meet up with Ian very quickly,e.g.). This is because the story was originally shot as a four parter - but Verity Lambert, the producer, felt it would be much tighter and more effective as three parts. As a result,it needed to be paired down somewhat - and videotape editing was in its infancy back in 1964...they literally used razor blades to cut the tape! This is one of my favourite Hartnell stories. Pre-CGI (or,indeed, most electronic effects) the only way to simulate scale was to build VERY BIG props. That's the case here - and it's adorable :) By season two,the production team (including the actors) had figured out what worked best and what needed changing - hence Susan screaming less, the Doctor being quirkier and more caring, and the stories lighter (on the whole) and with more humour. Basically - the template for the show from now on.

Well, I do love Paul Rudd... so it's probably a safe bet to assume I would like them. lol

I don't think I noticed it in parts one and two, but I watched the final part earlier tonight and it definitely was noticeable then. I was glad I had already read your comment because I think it would've almost ruined the episode for me if I didn't know. I'm definitely enjoying the start of this season more than the start of the first. But, I feel like that's to be expected.
