BRUCAS/LEYTON I agree at this moment that you are absolutely right that Peyton had few chances to tell Lucas how she felt…however I feel like Peyton can get extremely insecure about opening up to people and too in her head maybe cause shes been through a lot especially from a previous shitty relationship with not only just an ex but the brother of the guy she’s now into. she finally realized she wants to be with Lucas and the timing by the way is terrible and as we can see how brooke is starting to warm up to lucas but is Brooke as innocent in this situation? If anyone knows Peyton well is Brooke and she definitely know that Peyton like lucas after she dare Peyton to show how she felt at the party confirms it….at the end of the day it’s now Lucas choice to decide what does he want right? Here he has two girls he’s kissed and likes, so will it be Brooke a fun, quirky, exciting relationship or Peyton who he shares the same likes in things that comes with a deep emotional connection but also rejected him because she was scared of trusting her heart and jumping into something so real! It’s all on lucas! Rest to sure you will be exhausted with this love triangle! Lol Deb and Dan when Deb kicked Dan out gotto say that was the highlight of this episode lol but seriously Nathan and deb deserve better. Will add that he is such a freaking good villain and kills this role to a tea. Redemption? only time will tell after all 8 more season to go 🤣 and you warm up to mouth and Karen lol NAYLEY I think we are all screaming nayley because we’ve seen their journey through each season so we know what lies ahead but watching it with you from the beginning it makes sense to not be as invested just yet lol… you definitely need more scenes of them to be convinced and to be fair it hasn’t been enough like leyton however if that bedroom scene where Nathan shows up and pour his heart out touched you a tad bit you can only imagined what’s to come from those two🥺 Nathan is everything and I will never stop saying that lmao! Great reaction Brittany💕 and looking forward to episode 10 and the rest of this season cause good lord I hope you ready! 😭

Great Reactions! It's hard for me to keep quiet when you express your wishes for the show or certain characters on the show lol. Like you, I love a good villain. What I will say about Dan is that he is my favorite villain on any show I've ever watched 😀. I love what he brings to the show. Lucas, Peyton and Brooke, I agree with you about Peyton atm. She was the one who pushed Lucas away after he told her what he wanted and she told him she wanted to just be friends. Seeing that Lucas was interested in Brooke for wtv reason, was probably eye opening to her and granted she probably didn't think Luke was serious with Brooke but here it is. This was caused by her actions. Maybe it will be a learning experience, or not lol. Anyway, I do like that we get to see somewhat of her true feelings by her conversations with Haley. Makes you wonder why she can't have these same conversations with Brooke. I mean it's obv why Peyton is doing this and pushing Lucas away and Brooke doesn't seem to care too much. For me Lucas is free to do wtv atm but should Brooke? She knows Peyton has issues (or she should know) and is not over Lucas and she knows Lucas has feelings for Peyton. (Two epis ago she tried to get Peyton out of the way by pushing her towards Nathan.) Like why would she even want to get involved in that atm. Never got that. Will be interesting seeing your take on this situation going forward lol. Mouth is not my favorite and never was. He was just there for me. Like I mentioned before I think there was a reason they had him doing what he was doing basically for exposition. I think it will be more tolerable in epis to come. It does add some excitement to the games and what we are seeing believe it or not. His real name is Marvin btw. Karen. You are not the only person to feel this way about her. It's strange because of the situation and how she was wronged by Dan you would think she would be universally liked. Never thought about it in relation to Lucas. Idk I think they had her too straight. Not enough personality. I liked her but she was never really up there for me. I think the Lucas knight thing is all Lucas. Karen didn't make him that way, well not directly. He could have gotten that by feeling the need to protect her. Unlike Ryan's mom, Karen didn't show Lucas in anyway that she needed saving while he was growing up. Lucas is starting to get annoying. I don't like he's taking advantage of Keith and being mean to him for questioning his behavior, but he's a teen. With the combination of Brooke's influence and his mom gone it makes sense. Like a lot of us have said characters you like today will probably change at some point and change again and vice versa. This show has that talent lol. Deb is dramatic. 😁 Dan and Deb. While one aspect may have appeared fast, her kicking him out, one seems like it should have happened already, her seeing who he really was. So even if it appears fast to us obv this should have happened a long time ago. What I love about OTH is that they don't drag all aspects of a storyline. We will get a tease of things we want to happen while they then drag it out some lol. That's how they hook us. Remember Lucas and Nathan bonding in epi 6. Where'd that go? More of that please 😁. I mean Nathan was on drugs but their scene today was obv a step back. Naley. I can't say too much about them without spoiling and I gotta remember it's only epi 9 lol. But at this point when I first watched I was only semi invested in Naley. I liked the storyline potential. Two estranged brothers and a girl with a link to both. I wanted the brothers to bond. I liked Haley but wasn't sure where Nathan's head was at as far as her but I liked him as as character at this point as well. Nathan's emotions did seem a little sudden, but Nathan is a mess so him clinging to this relationship however quickly is what he needs atm so it makes sense. He definitely needs her rn. And as far as him wanting her I think it was to add to the cliffhanger for them, if they had sex when Haley closed the door. You were all like he won't try anything you can let him stay and I was like oh are they gonna have sex lol. And btw, you were spot on about Nathan being at his most vulnerable and showing up to Haley's and having her see him that way. One last thing lol. This epi was important for Nathan's character. We saw what extreme measures he would do for Dan and we saw him take accountability. Love that for him. Definitely a turning point for that character.
