This is good stuff, thanks! I'm glad I wasn't alone in thinking the gold dragon finale felt really out of place. Nothing to tie it to the rest of the story (from the perspective of the characters) and even more confusing was it being a gold dragon that somehow, even though he's an experienced, adult LG *dragon*, made this really strange deal and was basically outwitted by a cunning human politician. That didn't sit right. I was going to go the route of substituting it with a younger, corrupted gold dragon, of lower level than written, and I might have to crib your stats and change them a bit to fit my evil goldie. Looking forward!
