The vault in which Lord Neverember hid his stolen wealth was, in fact, constructed by the Melairkyn dwarves thousands of years ago and, today, lies beneath the Brandath family crypts. Clan Melairkyn were the first to begin excavating beneath what is now Waterdeep.
