Here is another versus mode patch. 

This patch features Stage Selection! Okay let's be honest this feature by itself isn't too terribly exciting. What's far more interesting is that I have been working on a Map Editor. HRT had such a feature but the UI wasn't the easiest to use. This time around, I am aiming towards a more feature rich UI, with lots of design elements taken from Blender, a 3d modelling software.

This should allow modders to incorporate Devices onto custom stages. I saw some very good work been done already so look forward to those soon!

In the distant future, I want to jump directly into HRT's dungeon generating mechanic, where each dungeon is sewed together by a bunch of mostly pre-set rooms/maps. The Map Editor is vital in authoring those said rooms/maps.

I think when people mention they want HRT that is what they are referring to, and not the super early HRT voxel based map system from long ago:

Speaking of devices, adding a toggle for Has Device in the grab customization in anticipation of things to come.

Changelog:

  • Added Stage Selection
  • Added Grab Customization filter to toggle grab with devices on/off
  • AI will now respect grab attempts more
  • Fixed a bug that AI to stand around trying to use ability that it cannot pay costs (such as energy)
  • Added new AI Level 3. This AI level knows couple of new tricks such as dashing towards opponent
