 *This is the longer lesson just for Patrons*

This time we'll learn how to use なら as "if" & "when".

Though たら is the most commonly used as "if",
there are times when you can only use なら.

You'll be able to make sentences like:

"If I want to work in Japan, I have to learn Japanese."
"If you will go to the convenience store, please get some milk too."

and a lot more! :)

ありがとございました! I have one question - I understand that you can't use なら in the example sentence from the previous lesson: 電気を消すと、部屋が暗くなる。 But what if I wanted to say "Since you turned off the light, the room got dark."? Could I use なら here, like: 電気を消したのなら、部屋が暗くなりました。Would that be correct?
