#42 A is more / better than B (comparison) (Patreon)
Content
Finally I made a new grammar lesson!
(やっと新しい文法のレッスンを作りました!)
This time we'll learn how to make a sentence like
"A is better / more ~ than B".
You'll use this construction:
"AのほうがBより <adj.>(です)".
Using this construction, you can make a sentence like "I prefer A to B" as well.
I've asked a few questions in the video so answer them in the comment :D
I'll correct your Japanese.
じゃあね☆
P.S. I realised I never uploaded a lesson on "たほうがいい" but
if you want to say "you should do ~", you want to put the past tense (informal) in front of ほうがいい.
For "you should NOT do ~", put the informal negation in front.
E.g.
予約したほうがいい。
yoyaku shita hou ga ii
= I / You should make a reservation.
休んだほうがいい。
yasunDA hou ga ii
= I / You should rest.
言わないほうがいい。
iwa-NAI hou ga ii
= I / You shouldn't say.
