New Projects (and other updates) (Patreon)

Hello wonderful people, I wanted to do another update post to give everyone an idea of what we're working on that is non-Zombies related because we've got a fair amount.

New Project - HALO LASO: Ok so we are beginning another very dumb, very long new journey series but now with Halo. Joe and I are going to be going through every Halo game LASO - which is Legendary All Skulls On. We've never, ever touched any Halo game with all the skulls on and thought it would be fun to suffer through this publicly. We're also going to be adding further challenges, scoring, and more to the project to make it a bit of a competition. We've not sure any of this yet but will be beginning this week and finding exactly what form this will take over the coming week. But it'll be... fun???

New Project - The Table: This is a working title name for now but as I mentioned last time, we want to extrapolate our Big Roundup Podcast into something more but also maintain our sanity and not become game reviewers. We are going to keep doing our usual very late "AAA game release review chat" that we've been doing for a million years now, but we're going to be adding a new element that'll stand alone as it's own show on the channel where we rank every game we talk about against every other game we've talked about. To start we'll be doing Resident Evil 4 Remake and Dead Island 2. But as more games come out, they'll all get compared and ranked against each other. Before you know it, we'll be putting Redfall and Jedi Survivor and Zelda all up against each other and RE4/Dead Island 2. It'll slowly escalate into something very dumb. Joe and I both have to agree and argue for where we think the game should rank, so it'll get messy and that'll be fun.

More Frequent Smaller Videos: We are pursuing producing more videos that are smaller and don't really fit in any of our existing molds just because it's a nice way for us to work on something fresh, keep our creative juices flowing, and just get playful with ideas. An example of one in the works at the moment is a silly little Dead Island 2 extreme gore goof video. What these will look like are hard to know but that's the fun of it and it'll serve as a way for us to take little mental breaks from Zombies and Mythbusters editing.

Beauty Videos: I intend to start producing these more frequently for similar reasons to the above. They are a nice change of pace to work on and for the channel. It helps that we also have more then three big games releasing this year that'll be half-decent to look at.

MW2 vs MW2019: We have mostly shot another episode of this so expect that in the next week or two.

WZ2 vs WZ1: With Plunder theoretically hitting at some point soon we'll be exploring a series comparing the two Warzone games much like the two Modern Warfare games. Warzone 2 continues to be far too similar and basic to justify a standalone, mainline Mythbusters series for it but this should be an enjoyable middle ground.

The Top 100 Games of the Last 10 Years: We are only halfway through production on this. It is already over 4 hours long. You are welcome.

I think that's everything. Suffice it to say we are feeling energized and want to keep exploring other forms of video thanks to the success and support Zombies has brought. Hopefully you enjoy some of the above nonsense as it comes!
