The Tower - Work in Progress 3 (Patreon)

I've spent a lot of time just zoning in and progressively tightening up the loose paint throughout this piece. The goal is to preserve a sense of texture and atmosphere while rooting around for places to find some hard edges and finer surface details.

The most fun part of this so far has been breaking the tower itself! Instead of drawing it broken, I made it intact and progressively broke pieces off. Having these big chunks floating in the air for the moment before they crash to the ground is super satisfying to watch come together.
