This whole piece is packed with bits of stuff, so it's taking a while to scrub together the final touches. Ultimately, I'm going to end up pulling out some of the elements I planned in order to make the composition feel less crowded.

When it comes down to it, the goal is to differentiate the materials to feel distinct from one another. Some of that comes down to the sort of edge control I'm typically engaging with at this point in the painting and some of it requires me to nudge the way colors transition across the forms.
