This is the first piece that I've worked on from outside my home office since I started the project over a year ago. That's part of the reason why it's running behind. It's the little things that pile up. Different OS, tablet, stylus nibs, brush sets, monitors. It sound fiddly but it causes just enough friction to slow things down to the point of stressing the monthly deadline.

I'm getting ahead of it all at this point. My remote work location has been my new home for about a week now and I'm starting to feel mostly comfortable. Prior to getting comfortable in my new environment, I was spending a lot of time making small incremental progress but now it's moving forwards at the regular pace.

Everything jumped forwards when I ditched a more washed out look in favor of leaning on the white and gold palette that I'm using now.

I'll definitely be finishing this piece this month, but I'm struggling to figure out how I will deliver 2 paintings in the next week. We'll see. I might have to deliver a WiP painting as a paid post in order to judo my way around the rigid monthly billing cycle. That would require you to have faith that I would publish 3 finished pieces in February and only charge for 2 of them.  If it comes to that, you guys are going to have to trust I'll handle it. Though, I have a suspicion that most of you aren't keeping as close an eye on the release schedule as I am, so I might be worrying over nothing.

Thanks as always.

This is great, just know I think most of us will agree that we want quality over quantity, and this is great quality!
