Life Update - A Brief Hiatus (Patreon)

Hey guys,

Lots has been happening this month. I've been getting settled down in Florida and laying down the foundation of my new life here. My time so far has been dominated by getting a new house and a new studio. 

House Hunting

The studio was supposed to get set up the first week we landed since I knew a guy who was moving out of an ideal space a the exact same time I was needing to move in. That fell through right away and all the possible follow-up options turned out to have move in dates much later than I expected. I'm not going to have the space to set up the store again until early September. If it starts to slip further out than that, I'm going to figure out how to start filling orders from the AirBnB I'm living in.

Our search for a house was supposed to be completed over a four month window but we found a place we love in just two days. The whole process of getting a loan and closing on the house has been speeding forward faster than I could have imagined and that's been leaving me busier than I planned on. That's left me without any time to address any art projects for the time being. Thankfully, the intensity of this experience means that it'll likely be over soon. We're probably going to be all set in a couple weeks and ready to move in as early as October.

Hiatus

I really don't want to take a break from releasing new pieces but these are extraordinary circumstances. The plan is start everything back up in September with a new painting/print to release as usual.

This means that no one is going to be charged for August. You don't need to do anything to stay subscribed or to avoid being charged accidentally. If you just leave your pledge as-is, you'll maintain access to the archive of rewards and begin to receive new stuff next month.

Prints in the Mail

If you were a print subscriber last month, your prints are going to get mailed out as usual. I'm taking steps to get everything shipped out from my temporary location in the next week or so.

Since there is no new art next month, the prints are going to be put on hold as well. There will be a month where no new prints are shipped and no one will be charged. If you stick around, everything will be back to usual in September.

Making Rewards More Accessible

I've heard complaints about accessing downloadable rewards via Discord. The plan is to fix that this month. Keep an eye out for a link to the archive of rewards in a more easily accessible link. The ETA on that is sometime later this week.
