I think I found this music video about 10 years ago, back when it was new. At that point, Angelarium had already been around in a tiny corner of the Internet for a few years, so the similarities at that point are definitely incidental.

Rewatching this video today makes me think that I've probably been subconsciously coming back to the world it builds when I think about the Watchers. Most of what I remembered about this video was auditory but seeing the visuals again for the first time in a few years, I'm shocked by the similarities to my recent work. It makes me think that seeing this video 10 years ago laid down a single immovable brick in the back of my brain and I've been building on top of that ever since.
