As you might know, I'm heavily inspired by the aesthetics of games and shows from Japan in the 80s-90s. That means I also tend to enjoy the modern stuff that also calls back to that era, especially indie games.
Over and over again I've thought about making bits of fan art for my favorite games but I keep ignoring it in favor of more important work. The other night, I was messing around while I was on a long video chat and this ended up coming out. It's just a quick tribute to a game I absolutely loved playing butI've uploaded the high res image and PSD to the Dropbox for $10+ subscribers since I figured some of you might want to take a closer look.
If you like Metroidvanias, Dark Souls or stylish platformers, I can highly recommend picking up Hollow Knight. It just came out on the Switch and it's become an instant classic in my book.
