Israfel - WiP 2 (Patreon)

With a truncated week this week, I decided to dig out an older WiP and finish it. I was really happy with the overall concept and shapes the way I left it with a few minor issues to clear up. The big point where I've been making larger changes is in the palette and the composition. The older version was cropped too tight focused the temperature and lighting too little. I feel like those are novice mistakes, so I decided to make some sweeping changes. I'm glad I did, because this is turning out to be one of my favorite additions to the Angelarium. As I've finished so much work recently, the process for spotting problems and addressing them cleanly is getting easier and easier. It's a great feeling to be growing again as an artist.
