This is a sketch that took me a few times to be happy with. I'll post the failed ones later, but I'm really excited to kick this off! Full-res in the attachments.

Oh, man... this one is really great. I love how free-floating it feels. There's something interesting about the 'arms', too-- how in looking down from where your eye lands on the shoulder, at first it feels like there are bound arms, but in following the form down it unravels into these free-flowing ribbons. And those have a sort of power of their own... That's what I love about all these, though, is how much staring and thinking and exploring the work is rewarding in the potential for interpretation of meaning.
