Da'at - WiP 2 (Patreon)

I've created a new sketch that I'm finally happy with. Buuuuut, I've still got some of the problems from before. The biggest issue is that the composition seems basically impossible to solve. The drawing just doesn't fit the format. The cloud pattern behind the head is making me really happy because I emphasizes the emptiness that is so central to the visual themes in this figure. Too bad I'm going to have to crop it. The colors are starting to resolve better at this point, but when I stand back from the piece and look at it as a whole, it feels too bland. There is a presence that I want it to have that it's not getting and no amount of detailing is going to fix that. This piece is turning out to be elusive.
