Zuriel, Angel of Libra - Detail Phase (Patreon)

Taking a week away from this piece, I got some fresh perspective on the details. The solar system Zuriel is holding in its hands got bigger in order to overlap parts of the arms in order to create more depth and layering inside the image.

The hardest part about this part of the painting is that it looks very finished from a distance, but most of it needs to get touched in some way or another to be ready for print. Small, crisp elements like the leaves at the bottom of the painting all need to have their edges sharpened by manually tracing each edge one by one. This is tedious at times, and relaxing at others. With travel preparations weighing on my mind, this one was hard, but I'm a professional, so I got it done.

Since I'm leaving tomorrow for a 2 week trip, I've prepared all the rewards on Discord and Dropbox already with the final post scheduled to post itself on the 31`st. Feel free to check out the final along with all the other digital rewards.
