Petr Boháč

I loved that Yukimura incorporated the famous tale of Canute trying to stop the waves. It’s one of the cooler stories in history. Usually we hear tales of the hubris of the kings of old. How they saw themselves as gods on earth. But Canute the Great showed his people that he was just an ordinary human being, and the powers to hold back the tide were vested in higher powers than himself. He showed humility in the face of something grander than himself. Humility may not have been his strongest characteristic, but humility is still a noble trait for one to possess.
