yeah.. im not blaming Rudy either.. i would probably do the same thing.. ''not payed attention/mind'' to the disaster and possible victims.. if we look at it from his side.. protecting/bring Eris home was/still is his job or one of his jobs that HE (Paul) send him off to without discussing it with him.. :D like Rudy wanted job but he didnt choose it.. :D also.. there was another time skip.. (3~ months) which we have no idea what Roxy was doing.. making me think why did they even bother showing us how Roxi and the party was looking for them in the city lol.. AND year and a half we have no idea what Ghislaine is doing.. or even if she is alive.. :/// which is making me quite upset.. ofc i dont want any spoiler answers.. :D just speaking my mind :)

UGH Why did he word it like that, WHY didn't he say "I didn't know" not "I didn't think of it" he had no idea or way of knowing that days and days travel away from where he was that the disaster had stretched that far. And he wasn't taking it "easy" on the road. He got sent to an AWFUL Demon continent and was doing everything possible he could to get Eris home and make it back. He should have tried to send a letter sooner, but he even said before the disaster that mail was wicked unreliable only from Eris' house to where Roxy was let alone after the disaster and from ALL the way in the Demon Continent. ugh. And yeah like you said Paul's expectations of what he knows to be a 12 year old are ridiculous.
