[Notice] Monthly-rewards will no longer use pCloud (Patreon)

Hi Everyone,

As you may notice the pCloud links got a lot of hiccups lately, mostly because of 'bandwidth limit exceeded'.


Honestly i'm not sure why it happens. Using raw calculation, (our member count) * (size of the files) is still far from the 2TB bandwidth limit.


Unfortunately this problem reduces the experience of using pCloud.

So from now on, i decided to stop listing pCloud links in the reward posts and opt to list just the MEGA links. 

However, some other links (e.g. [Time Machine] request links) will currently keep using pCloud for now.


If you somehow have an unsolvable problem with MEGA links and still need pCloud links, please send me a message on Patreon and i'll send them to you.


I'll keep looking if i can find another solution in the future. But for now, MEGA able to avoid the bandwidth issue and works the best compared to other cloud (i'm sure long-time members remember the number of cloud services i tried in the past) 😔

Man, do you think if pCloud fixes the issues, you'll continue using it? or is this the last straw with pCloud? ( told ya I'd be back when I got my refund)

Maybe if they somehow changed the way they handle bandwidth or change the bandwidth limit itself 🤔 But right now it doesn't really seems likely, their support doesn't really help too. We'll need to see how it's going in the future. (welcome back 🙌)

Unfortunately not 😬 I've tried it in the past, they have 1tb bandwidth limit, missing some sharing feature and the price is twice as expensive XD

Thank you so much for the heads up, I enjoyed more to use pCloud but I guess it was too good to be true. Here's hoping that they can figure out what's wrong with their site so you can eventually come back to use it.

2024-02-12 06:54:22 Definitely unfortunate, I preferred pcloud because it actually downloaded very quickly, also for some reason Mega always trips my antivirus and even though I'm fully aware Mega is safe it's just annoying having to disable my antivirus to download it. All well, thanks for letting us know!
