This month I've been focusing on June's video on globalisation and continuing my book rewrite. Some personal life issues have slowed my progress considerably, but we move. May's video on Organising Anarchy, the spiritual part two of April's video on the State, will be released on International Workers' Day: May 1st.

Just as with my video on Solarpunk Cities, I've been working with Sean Bodley to create yet another beautiful piece of solarpunk anarchist artwork for a thumbnail and within the video itself. This thumbnail preview should hopefully whet your appetite for its release.

Here's a preview of the timestamps for that video, which is now my longest yet:

  • Introduction - 0:00

  • Preface - 2:44

  • Defining Anarchy - 3:35

  • Opposing Authority - 4:43

  • Dissecting Authority - 6:05

  • Organising Anarchy - 10:14

  • Transcending Democracy - 16:48

  • Revisiting Consensus - 27:24

  • Exploring Alternatives - 34:42

  • Librarying Economies - 39:16

  • Pursuing Anarchy - 43:36

  • Conclusion - 50:36

In other news, Manor Lords looks like a very interesting city builder. I finished reading every volume of the Invincible comic and I'm looking forward to seeing how everything is adapted in the show. It's taking longer than usual for me to make my way through the Dune books, but I'm trying.

I haven't streamed in a while, but I might soon. I've been told that a stream can potentially throw off the performance of a release though, so I've been trying to avoid streaming around and after the release of videos that I find as important as this next one. I may stream in late May or early June. Depends.

Those are all the thoughts I have to share for now. All power to all the people.

4:44, dividing rulers and ruled is bad for both / 5:10 we admit the imperfections of human nature, but we make no exception for the rulers / 5:20 the ruler's position is one of impotence because they are cut away from the flow of human creativity / 5:45 hierarchy creates conflict and this disempowers the whole community ... You definitely should have put Spinoza's Political Treatise in bibliography, because this is exactly what it says.
