Dragon fire does hurt Targarians. In the books, when Daenerys walks into the fire its described as a miracle and goes toward the prophecy that she is Azor Ahai. Targaryens aren't fireproof. Daenerys is the only one to do it

At 1:02:28 Jei says Rhenera is going to live withThe Queen that Never Was. The Queen that Never Was doesn't live in Dragon Stone. She lives in Driftmark which is south of Dragon Stone. Dragon Stone is the ancestral home of the Targaryens. Driftmark is the ancestral home of The Velaryon.

The intro DOES evolve/change every episode. More and more blood trails/symbols are added as the chess board shifts its pieces.

The 180 turn of Sir Cole is wild and delicious to see... he's giving off great villain energy. I believe Aemond (youngest son of the king/queen) is blind in one eye? I think but am not sure.. his sister mentioned he'd have to close an eye to get a dragon. You can tell from the bullying and his fascination with dragons that he's gonna become a savage. Larys Strong (the cane hobbling crud doing spy) is playing the game of thrones super hard. love to see it.

Harwin said to the baby "i shall be a stranger when we meet again". The Stranger is the represenation of death in Westerosi religion.. they're slick with it 😅 i really dont like this time jump either, i understand they need to get things moving but we are missing so much. I know there is going to be another time jump before the end of the season so hopefully the actors they picked for the kids, especially Ageon and Aemond, are good because they've got some shit to do 🤣

Alicent has been on major crud but only up to rumors and jabs at her enemies. She hasn't ordered the execution or assassination of anyone, and Larys Strong has so far been on information/spying, but again, not on assassinations. How is it bad writing for her to be shocked when my man reveals he X'd his dad and brother????

"how is this the same person who brought in the wild boar?". We're talking about the same chick who got with her uncle and then her kingsguard protector in one night. And this was AFTER her father gave her the luxurious power of being able to marry any man she wanted. Think about that. In a world where women can't get freedom to marry who they want, she got ENDLESS freedom and still chose to mess around with the first guy who moved to her. For someone who is meant to be heir to the throne, she clearly hasn't taken her position that seriously to begin with. Just cause she's a savage who can kill a wild boar (thats already half dead), doesn't mean she's smart.

Another thing, Rhaenyra HAS done something in these 10 years. Aegon's little brother (Aemond) doesn't have a dragon, and the reason why is because Rhaenyra's dragon Syrax is the one popping out the eggs. This episode we learned not all eggs actually hatch. And so Rhaenyra basically has full control over which valyrians get to be dragonriders going forward. Alicent specifically points out how Rhaenyra's 3 kids all have dragons, but for her kids, only Aegon does. And Rhaenyra knows Alicent wants both sons to be dragonriders, and Rhaenyra knows this, so her deal to marry off her bastard son to Alicent's trueborn daughter was sprinkled with the incentive of "Aemond gets pick of the next batch of dragon eggs".

One last thing (lol been posting too much) is about the 10 year time jump. Its mad but if you knew how much book content was being covered in the first 5 episodes, this story has been stretched out like crazy (something like 2 or 3 pages worth to 5 hours). We're still basically in the prologue of the overall story and the actors for Rhaenyra and Alicent are permanent going forward.

What’s peak is that Helaena Targaryen (Viserys and Alicent daughter) seem to have visions like her ancestor. She was speaking about things that will happen in the future in that scene. Example Aemond having a one eye. Which he later does according to the novel and the trailer we saw months ago
