The character development amongst the main cast has really shown in these past couple of episodes. Skye,fitz, may, and even Coulson are so much different than when the show first began. Whenever dramatic changes occur in AOS seasons, I always like to go back a rewatch the very first episode. Everyone has grown tremendously.

AOS still sticking to whats happening in the MCU is one of the things that make it so great. Connecting the powered people experiments by Strucker and List with the Inhumans is a great way to flesh out both. The show never forgets that there's world building still happening outside of them, and they're always expanding their own mythology as well as the MCUs. Thats what makes it so fun to rewatch, you notice a lot more things the second time you go through and you appreciate things differently like all those season 1 scenes with May.
