Good for you (and us). I suppose your workflow will be so much smoother with your new companion. BTW, do you absolutely need portability? Desktops are much faster than their laptop counterparts in the same price range.

Actually I had to buy lot more stuff for a desktop, a monitor, a chair, a table and I do have a massive space issue and my home doesn't have the best static either and the voltage in my country isn't stable at all. So I needed to find solution of all that and the cost of all of that would easily exceed than that of a laptop. Once I move into somewhere suitable then I'll build a desktop.
