In my Arms (Patreon)

Hello!

This is number 2 of the two drawings that I wanted to make for wonderful friends of mine I met at GalaCon - @Cloudy95 and Maurice/Astronix! These two lovely people are a blessing in my life and brought me so many smiles already that I just wanted to give something back at least, so I decided to draw their Fursonas cuddling eachother as a plushie. They now have matching illustrations^^

Maurice - or Astronix when it comes to his Fursona's name - is a bugg galactic Red Panda with big proportions that I wanted to convey in this image as Cloudy's Plushie is being hugged tight between those muscles and gentle paws. Getting Maurice's colours right traditionally was challenging yet not impossible thanks to Coloured Pencils helping me much^^ I had much fun creating these gradient effects and especially putting emphasis on maurice's face here with that soft warm expression we know him for! Cloudy's little Protogen plush made me smile while working on it and even if it was a bit tricky to get all the stripes right, I think it worked out fine here! What do you think of this drawing?^^
